Number 43 - Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Splatoon, Pro Evolution Soccer 6

On this week's Ournimal-Crossing Three Cents, Chris celebrates his birthday amongst friends on Jonathan's Otter Isle, Minty stuffs his pocks with eggs, and Jonathan welcomes genuine canine celebrity KK Slider!

What's this show meant to be about again?

Games! Is Roundguard, the Peggle / Rogue-lite hybrid any good? Is mobile puzzler The House of Da Vinci as good as it's inspiration, The Room? Do you really need to go through 3000 duels to conquer 3000th Duel?

Then, big entries for our big lists.

Jonathan remembers Tomb Raider: Anniversary, spinning vivid tales of his initial exposure to the series via the Sega Saturn's port of the original release before it's Wii update.

Minty is thrilled by Splatoon's 'electric newness', Nintendo's incredible foray into the world of online shooters completely devoid of screaming, racist children.

Finally, Chris relays a series of fraternal memories connected to Pro Evolution Soccer 6, the ONLY football game worth playing! (In some people’s very specific opinions! - JD)

Oh my! Games are so, so good.

Number 58 - Celeste, Earth Defence Force 2017, Chrono Trigger

Do you like videogames? Do you?!

Join an uncharacteristically excitable trio in their ongoing mission to talk up the videogames which make them happiest.

Can Chris keep up his commanding quiz lead? Is The Witcher 3's recent Switch port any cop? A few months in, how is Jonathan getting on with Mario Kart Tour's layered economy? How is Minty progressing in his personal Dragon Quest?

Onto the rankings: What makes artsy platformer Celeste so good? How long can Chris talk about Earth Defense Force, a series that no-one in the world knows of or cares about? Is Chrono Trigger worth downloading on your mobular telephone or personal computer?

(we like videogames)

Number 75 - QuackShot Starring Donald Duck, Dishonored, Fantasy Life

As we reach the quarter mark in our countdown, a phenomenal phenomenon occurs with the first tri-peat of the series with Minty also reflecting on his interesting fictional existence! Elsewhere in this pun-tastic episode, Chris enjoys plunging his way down memory lane with a legendary Disney adventure and Jonathan once again reverts to his dastardly thieving ways! Else-elsewhere we also discuss the cons of retro throwbacks in games, alternative Japanese video game titles, the little known MMEU (Mickey Mouse Extended Universe) and we gain a new mascot in the gloriously-named Granny Rags!

Number 79 - Luigi's Mansion, Kirby's Dream Land, Braid

This week the lads are all investing in their latest obsession in Konami Pixel Puzzle Collection, whilst Jonathan has been off shaking the Hand of Gilgamech in SteamWorld Quest and Chris has been gearing up for Borderlands 3! All the while, one of the Arsenal fans within the collective have been venting their frustrations in their team’s downward turn in New Star Manager! We also decide to throw around the very hottest of accessible potatoes where we discuss the recent discourse about notoriously difficult games and the potential inclusion of Easy modes.

Meanwhile in the rankings, Minty visits the spectral plain with a very spooky entry, Jonathan takes another adorable trip down memory lane and Chris gets his brain tied in a series of complex and metaphysical knots!

Number 84 - Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, New Super Mario Bros U, Portal

It’s coming up monkeys this week on Our Three Cents, with apes out everywhere in Jonathan’s abode, Minty monkeying about with some bread and butter, and Chris is just dropping some simian faux pas all over the shop!

Number 86 - Angry Birds Trilogy, Dragon Age Origins, Counter Strike: Condition Zero

In a real trip down memory lane, this week the chaps recount all manner of recollections from hungover poolside birds, astrally-projected book clouds, and shouting incendiary warnings during vintage old-school threesomes! Plus Chris embarks on a new RPG to try and finish in the next 10 years, find out what’s hiding in Minty’s chest, and witness Jonathan suffering with a severe case of Dead Cells! It’s classic Our Three Cents.
