The Glass Block

Available until 10th July 2022

The Glass Block is a dance film created in partnership between Jonathan Dunn and choreographer Jack Philp.

Through a Clwstwr-funded project, we have sought to create a number of variations to enable you to choose a version of the film that will suit your individual preferences and requirements. These options range from picking brighter or darker colours, more or less saturation, more or less cutting and fading, implementation of a traditional Audio Description track or a Creative Description. Written by Jack Philp, the traditional audio description will take you on a journey of the movement as it evolves, meanwhile the creative description reflects the conceptual world of the work and delves into the creative headspace behind the choreography.

Feel free to have a watch of the film in its control state here, and feel free to browse the pre-made variations available below. If you’d like to request a version with settings specifically tailored to you - feel free to use the form below that!

It is our intention in the future that your personal variation will be generated immediately, but at this stage of the project, it will be manually put together for you and a personal link will be shared to your email address for you to access.

When you’ve watched a version of the film, it would be a huge help if you could fill out this reaction form!
